Your Guide to Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida

Disney Springs has re-opened after closing for COVID-19. Shopping, dining and entertainment are slowly coming back to life! Keep in mind that right now (Spring/Summer 2020) not all of these locations are open. Hopefully everything will be back to normal business soon, but until then, support the shops and restaurants you can!

I often get asked about the Disney parks in Orlando when clients are booking vacations. Which rides are in which park? Where’s the best place to eat? Which park will my child enjoy the most? Where do I meet Elsa?

I hear you! So let’s go over each of Disney’s 4 parks and Disney Springs. We’ll talk Disney Springs here but if you’re looking for other parks, you can read about Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

For those of you saying “but wait, Justine, where’s Harry Potter?” let’s clarify something. Harry Potter is not owned by Disney. Harry Potter is at the OTHER park *gasp* Universal Studios. But, good news, I CAN help you book a Universal vacation or add on a day or two at Universal to your Disney vacation! Not to worry, Harry Potter fans, we’ve still got you covered. You can read more about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter here.

Let’s talk Disney Springs! While not a exactly a “park” there is still plenty to do, and the best part is it doesn’t require a ticket or fee to enter! It’s like a big down town; in fact it used to be called Downtown Disney.

World of Disney is my favorite shop at Disney Springs. It’s one GIANT Disney store. If there’s anything you’re looking for Disney merchandise wise, you’ll find it at World of Disney.

Disney Springs Area Resorts

There are some beautiful resorts near Disney Springs. I know it’s crazy to imagine a trip to Disney without going to the parks, but if that is something you’re interested in, these resorts are great options!

  • Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has a boat and a walking path over to Disney Springs with busses to all the parks.
  • Port Orleans Resort, both Riverside and French Quarter have busses to all the parks and a boat to Disney Springs
  • Old Key West Resort also has busses to the parks and a boat to Disney Springs.

We love Saratoga Springs. It has great views of Disney Springs, and the walking path is lovely and relaxing.

That’s all the important things for Disney Springs! Are you ready to book your next Disney vacation?
